What are the technical requirements?
Ideally, a quality acoustic piano (grand or upright) in good condition and recently tuned. If your venue doesn't have an instrument, I can coordinate with professional piano rental companies in Switzerland. I'm self-sufficient regarding setup and only need confirmation of piano location and any timing considerations.
Do you provide music during presentations or speeches?
I typically provide background music during networking, cocktails, and dining (moments when conversation is encouraged). During presentations, speeches, or program segments requiring audience attention, I pause to allow full focus. We'll coordinate timing during event planning to ensure seamless transitions.
Can you provide music for international corporate events?
Yes. Based in Switzerland, I'm available for corporate events throughout Europe. I have experience performing internationally and work comfortably with diverse audiences and multilingual events (English, French, German, Ukrainian, Russian).
How does booking and payment work for a company?
Booking is confirmed with a 30% deposit on signing the performance agreement, and the balance is due 7 days before the event. Corporate clients can be invoiced, and bank transfer and TWINT are also accepted. The agreement records the date, times, venue, performance duration, and repertoire expectations, which is usually all your finance or procurement team needs.
What if the event date changes?
Corporate calendars move, and I try to be pragmatic about it. Let me know as early as you can: the earlier the notice, the more flexibility I can offer in transferring the booking to a new date. The applicable rescheduling terms are set out in the performance agreement.
How is travel handled for venues outside Central Switzerland?
I am based in Zug and perform throughout Switzerland and in neighbouring countries. For venues beyond Central Switzerland, reasonable travel costs are added to the booking fee, and travel and logistics for international engagements are agreed as part of the booking process.
Can you prepare a specific piece for a key moment in the programme?
Yes. Special requests and custom arrangements are welcome, and four to six weeks of notice is normally enough to prepare them, whether the piece is tied to a company anniversary, an award presentation, or a guest of honour.
