What Event Hosts Say

A few words from clients who booked Iryna for their events.

  • Iryna played during the welcome cocktail hour for our wedding. She was great to work with and communicated clearly before the event with her intended set list. She then worked with us to refine it to our specific tastes. On the day itself she was punctual, accommodating and played great! We got lots of compliments about her playing. We would fully recommend to hire Iryna to play the piano at your event!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the music remain subtle enough for conversation and service?

Yes. Volume, repertoire, tempo and set structure are adapted to the room and time of day. Lobby, restaurant and aperitif programmes are designed to support the atmosphere without competing with guests or staff.

Is Iryna available as a recurring hotel or bar pianist?

Yes. Weekly, monthly, seasonal and longer recurring arrangements can be discussed, subject to schedule and the practical requirements of the venue.

What if our hotel or restaurant does not have a piano?

A professional digital or acoustic piano rental can be coordinated. The right choice depends on the visual setting, room size, access, acoustics and frequency of the engagement.

Which areas do you serve?

This service is focused on hotels, bars, lounges and restaurants in Zug, Zürich and Lucerne, with other Swiss destinations considered for suitable engagements.

Can the repertoire reflect our brand or guest profile?

Yes. The balance of classical, jazz, film, contemporary and seasonal music can be shaped around your positioning, audience, time of day and desired atmosphere.

Can guests request pieces?

Requests can be included when the setting suits them. House favourites and important pieces are best shared in advance so they can be prepared and integrated naturally.

What information is useful for a first inquiry?

Please share the venue and city, preferred dates and times, whether the engagement is one-off or recurring, the available piano, the desired atmosphere and an approximate schedule.

How does booking and payment work?

An engagement is confirmed with a 30% deposit on signing the performance agreement, with the balance due 7 days before the date. Invoicing is available for business clients, and bank transfer and TWINT are also accepted. The agreement records the date, times, venue, playing time, and repertoire expectations.

What if a confirmed date needs to be moved?

Please share the change as early as possible. The earlier the notice, the more flexibility can be offered in moving the engagement to another date. The applicable terms are set out in the performance agreement.

What condition should the house piano be in?

A well-maintained grand or upright, professionally tuned shortly before the engagement, gives the best result; for a featured performance, tuning within 24 to 48 hours is ideal. A short sound check before the first set is always helpful.

How are venues outside Central Switzerland handled?

They are welcome. For hotels and restaurants beyond Central Switzerland, reasonable travel costs are added to the fee, and the schedule is planned around access times and the practical requirements of the venue.
